Oscar-nominated Simon Blackwell is shooting Veep, the HBO comedy he’s written and co-executive produced with Armando Iannucci starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. He recently wrote two series of The Old Guys for BBC1 and continues to write episodes of Peep Show. Simon has written on every episode of The Thick Of It. He co-wrote the multi-award-winning In The Loop and contributed to Chris Morris's Four Lions. Simon also created Armstrong & Miller's streetwise WWII pilots.
